Cooling Cushion Review & Comparison : Tonymoly - Skin Food

  Living in Indonesia, with this crazy humidity really stress me out. My skin gets oily, it gives me large pores, and blackheads. For that many reasons, I use cooling cushion to cool down my skin. Cooling your skin face down will minimize pores, automatically will reduce your oil production in skin and it helps you apply your make up easily. So today, I'm gonna review and compare Tonymoly Aqua Aura CC Cooling Cushion and Skinfood Vita Water Pore Fit Cushion Bottle.

The left one is Skinfood Vita Water Pore Fit Cushion Bottle and the right one is Tonymoly Aqua Aura CC Cooling Cushion. As you can see, the Tony moly one is brighter than the skinfood one. ( sorry for the photo quality)

Winner on price and quantity : The skinfood one is cheaper and has more quantity than the tonymoly one. Skinfood :120 ml while tonymoly : 60 ml.

Winner on packaging : To me, Skinfood win hands down in this category with it's cute casing. Since the 2 packaging are almost the same, the deciding factor is the colour.  Don't get me wrong, the tonymoly cc cushion white casing is very clean and beautiful, but it looks a bit boring and since it's white colour, it will get dirty easily. Plus, the there's a small mirror in the skinfood one.

Winner on airpuff  : I love the skinfood airpuff more. The tonymoly airpuff gets torn easily, you have to use it carefully.

Winner on coverage : both light to medium coverage. Cannot decide between these two .. Sorry

Winner on lasting power : They're similar. But I think Tonymoly one has more lasting power.

Winner on Shade, Texture & Finish:  

This is a very personal thing. Some people prefer dewy finish and some people prefer matte finish, some people prefer brightening product some people prefer natural one. And everyone has different skin tones. 

For me, tonymoly cc cushion is the winner here. Not only its shade offers the best match to my skin tone, it smells better than skinfood. Sometimes, it really brother me to have dull skin. But this tonymoly cc cushion  gives brightening, glowing effect to my skin. It's matte but not drying. The skinfood pore fit cushion give me natural look. You will like this if you prefer natural look.

These two bottles are really similar. They have SPF 50 ++ which protects our skin from the sun. Both cushion gives intense cooling sensation once the product touches my skin. Both product gives similar result. But, If I get to choose between these cushion, I will choose the Tonymoly Aqua Aura CC Cooling Cushion. The Skinfood one did really well, but this Tonymoly cc cushion gives this brightening, glowing effect on my skin which I really love. But if you don't like glowy look and want to go with cheaper price and natural look, the Skinfood cushion is the perfect choice for you.

You can use moisturizer in case it dries you up. Since it is a cooling cushion, it dries really fast so you have to pat it all over your face just as quickly so it will come out nice and even. And if you have oily skin, you can add some powder because it doesn't hold long enough and it will be too shiny for you.
